Research interests

Mosaic landscape in Egyek-
Pusztakócs (Hortobágy National
Park), our main study site.

Our interests are in ecology, evolution and conservation biology. We are particularly interested in the interplay between ecology and evolution, and how their synthesis can be applied in the conservation of biological diversity. Our work involves combining theory with practice, science with applied aspects, and ecology with conservation both at the species and the habitat/landscape levels.
