RESEARCH INTERESTS

My interests are in ecology, mainly in conservation ecology. I am particularly interested in the effects of the conservational management of grasslands (restoration, mowing, grazing etc.). My PhD research also deals with the influencing factors, the changes and the enhancement possibilities of biodiversity of grasslands.
I believe that one of the biggest challenges of conservation nowadays is to fill in the communication gap between theory and practice. Therefore, at my current job I try to strengthen the scientific approach in conservation practice.
